Bybit receives provisional cryptocurrency license from Dubai’s VARA
Bybit has officially obtained a temporary cryptocurrency license issued by the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA). The acquisition of this non-operating license marks an important step in Bybit's business expansion in Dubai, providing more reliable crypto asset services to retail and institutional investors in the region.
Chief Operating Officer Helen Liu said that this license is an important milestone in the company's global expansion strategy and reflects Dubai's potential as a leading blockchain center. She pointed out that Dubai's unique geographical location and innovation-driven development environment have brought unprecedented opportunities to the crypto industry.
As more cryptocurrency companies choose to relocate here, Dubai is rapidly developing into an important hub for global digital assets. Although it has only obtained a temporary license, Bybit is still working hard to obtain a full operating license to further enhance its influence in the global market.
We look forward to Bybit continuing to drive innovation and growth in this new environment full of opportunities and challenges.
